スタイリストアシスタントを経て独立。雑誌や広告、ミュージックビデオなどのスタイリング、コスチュームデザインを手掛ける。2006年にニューヨークに拠点を移し、翌年からアメリカのカルチャー誌のコントリビューターを務める。15年からライター、コーディネーターとしてもニューヨークと東京を拠点に活動。
Naoko Watanabe, known as NAO, is a fashion stylist, writer, and coordinator with extensive experience in the media and fashion industries. After graduating from fashion college in Tokyo, she started her career as an assistant to a fashion stylist. In 2006, she moved to New York City, where she began contributing to various publications covering global fashion, music, and pop culture. NAO’s deep understanding of trends and aesthetics allows her to bring a thoughtful perspective to all her projects. Currently, she divides her time between Tokyo and New York, working as a stylist and writing articles focused on fostering mutual understanding between Japan and the international community.
